The Eaton Tripp Lite 8-Port Rack Console KVM Switch is the ideal solution for managing multiple computers from a single console. This unit integrates an 8-port KVM switch, a keyboard, a 19" LCD monitor, and a touchpad, all within just 1U of rack space. It supports video resolutions up to 1280 x 1024 and allows for easy switching between connected devices using on-console push buttons, an on-screen display (OSD), or keyboard hotkey commands. The switch includes eight 6-foot combo cable kits for seamless connection to PS/2 or USB servers without the need for adapters. Additionally, it features two USB ports for connecting peripherals and supports up to 504 computers through daisy-chaining with additional KVM switches. Built with heavy-duty steel housing, this KVM switch is compatible with all major operating systems and provides 2-level password security for enhanced access control.
